Snorkelling with whaleshark

Swim with Whalesharks on the Ningaloo Reef

On the bucket list for many a tourist or nature lover is to swim with Whalesharks, and there are only a few places on this planet where you can do that. Exmouth is a remote town, in the North West of Western Australia. Approximately 1270 km north of Perth with a population of around 2250 permanent residents. The Exmouth Peninsula runs the entire length of the World Heritage Listed, Ningaloo Reef Marine Park.

Swim with Whalesharks

Only from Exmouth can you jump on a charter boat and go swimming with the Whalesharks (season runs March – August). Only from Exmouth can you scuba dive or snorkel the Ningaloo Reef and the pristine waters off the Sanctuary zones.

A Diving Mecca

The World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef is internationally recognized as one of Earths last ocean paradises. Among the largest fringing reefs in the world, the Ningaloo Reef can be accessed straight off the beach – something very few coral reefs offer. You can take a dive in the clearest turquoise water imaginable to view hundreds of colourful tropical fish and pristine coral gardens. Snorkel with sea turtles and graceful manta rays.

The Ningaloo Coast and in particular the Exmouth Gulf sees the highest density of humpback whales in the Southern Hemisphere during the annual migration from Antarctica (June to November). During this period, 30,000 humpback whales visit the Ningaloo Coast and can be sighted from shore, or you can take in a whale watching tour.

World Class Fishing

Or you can hook into world class fishing. The continental shelf runs closer to the Australian mainland off Exmouth than anywhere else in the country. The Region offers fantastic game fishing, especially for the marlin. All three Australian species of marlin are caught here in good to great numbers, along with an incredible range of other game and sport fish. Charter and tour boats specialising in game, sport, reef and fly fishing are available all year round.

The Ningaloo Coast offers visitors the freedom to independently explore and enjoy without restrictions. Spend a day snorkeling pristine coral gardens, find a deserted beach to enjoy all to yourself, hike the trails of the Cape Range National Park, observe the local emus stopping traffic on the main streets, camp along the shores of the Ningaloo Lagoon. You can swim our waters all year round, perfectly safe! The choices are endless and yours to make.

Choosing your Ningaloo Reef Holiday Accommodation
Sunset over the ranges from Gecko

Welcome to our new site showcasing some excellent Ningaloo Reef Holiday Accommodation in Exmouth.

Choosing your Ningaloo Reef Holiday Accommodation is an important task and should take into consideration everything that your group wants from its accommodation and also what is actually available.

We manage about 20 holiday homes in Exmouth. I will start by clarifying what a holiday home actually is. It may seem obvious but I do get asked often! It is a fully self contained ‘home’ usually on a block of land, surrounded by fence, but sometimes its an apartment, or town house/villa. But not in a complex.

Just an ordinary family dwelling. It is fully furnished, comes with all domestic items you require. Almost always has bed linen, bath towels, tea towels, and bath mats provided. It is someones personal property. So it is loved and maintained like a family home. Decorated by the owners personal taste and style. Each home is unique.

Choosing your Ningaloo Reef Holiday accommodation should be just as personal.

Find a house that has what you require as basics…how many rooms and beds do you need? Then what else is essential? Do you need a jetty for your boat? Do you have to have a swimming pool as you are holidaying in January with 4 children? Is WiFi essential as you need to keep your one man show business operation whilst on holiday? Do you need to be on the marina so that you can fish for dinner at night from your own rock wall? Do you need something cheap and cheerful as you are on a budget? Do you just need a bed and a place to keep the beers cold, cos you plan to be out fishing all day? All questions to ask yourself.

Exmouth holiday homes provide you with the many alternatives that you may require. The beauty of choosing your Ningaloo Reef Holiday Accommodation  and staying in an Exmouth holiday home is that your privacy is paramount, the range is endless, the price is economical, and the service is always just a little bit more personal.

So navigate your way around this site. It is easily broken down for you into major holiday home categories for ease of browsing. Find a property that you like the look and feel of. Send me an enquiry to check availability and pricing. It’s that simple. We will follow up with you within 24 hours at the most.
