Swim with Whale Sharks on the Ningaloo Reef

Swim with Whale Sharks on the Ningaloo Reef and enjoy a unique experience of a lifetime.  There are ample tour companies to choose from in Exmouth for your special swim.

Every year, they visit the Ningaloo Reef from March until August. Whale Sharks are slow swimmers and move their entire bodies from side to side. They swim on the surface so are visible to all age groups you don't have to be a strong swimmer. They are enormous but very gentle and don't seem to mind interacting with people.

Swim with Whale Sharks on the Ningaloo Reef begins with an informative bus trip to Tantabiddi Jetty to board your boat for the day.

Once on board you will be taken out to the inner reef for a snorkel/swim to see the diverse and colourful marine life in calm pristine waters.  This is the first part of your tour.

After your Snorkel you will be ready for the delicious Morning Tea on the boat.

You are now energized and ready for the highlight of the tour to Swim with Whale Sharks on the Ningaloo Reef.  The Crew put on a funny tutorial puppet show so you know how to interact with the Whale Sharks.

The boat heads out to the outer reef with an overhead "spotter" plane.  The plane spots the first Whale Shark of the day and it is now time for your first drop into the water.

All that excitement has made you hungry and ready for the gourmet lunch followed by more fun with the Whale Sharks.

All tours offer morning and afternoon tea, a gourmet lunch with quality food and service.

Customers don't have to be strong swimmers as flotation devices are on most tours and some boats also have lowering platforms.

Customers can also visit The Exmouth Visitor Centre on Murat Road for information on all tour companies particularly for tours that can accommodate people who need assistance in and out of the water.

I took my Son and his family so can personally vouch that this is a great day out for all.  My 3 year old granddaughter had never snorkeled before and loved it.  I had never swam in deep ocean before but felt totally relaxed and safe. A a crew member took my hand and lead me out to my first sighting of a Whale Shark.  It was totally awesome. I can highly recommend this amazing experience for any one of any age as a "must do" tour while holidaying in Exmouth.
