Have your Wedding in Exmouth!

Have your Wedding in Exmouth!

Why not have your Wedding day in Exmouth? One of life's most important moments, is your wedding day. Celebrating your wedding somewhere special is an important decision. Exmouth and the Ningaloo Reef is quickly becoming a sought after wedding destination.

But three words of advice ... planning, planning and more planning!

Planning a Wedding in Exmouth

Exmouth is a small town. If you are planning a large wedding party then they need to book accommodation as soon as you name the dates. Too many times I have had calls from wedding guests trying to book weeks in advance only to be told there is nothing available. Which means …. expensive hotels, on top of flights and all other costs. Please stress the importance of booking accommodation as far in advance as possible and provide your guests with a list of available options. We have accommodation options to suit everyones needs from luxury marina holiday homes to family friendly budget holiday homes.

Whilst we have over 300 days of sunshine a year, that still leaves 50+ days of inclement weather. December to April is cyclone season. It is also extremely hot, so please be mindful that you have a plan B in case of cyclone weather or extreme heat conditions. Many businesses choose to close over the cyclone season so don't presume that everything will be open. Again, it's all in the planning!

The most important person on your wedding day (apart from the bride and groom) is the celebrant or priest. Without them you cannot be married. There are a few to choose from in Exmouth, be sure to organise your celebrant well in advance. With much paperwork to do and you will need to have your celebrant secured.

Then there is all the fun stuff to arrange! Flowers, decorations, hair, makeup, catering, wedding cakes, transport, music...much to think about. Remember, Exmouth is a very small town with limited resources. Have your ‘reception’ items locked in and booked well in advance. Many weddings are held in Exmouth every year, Exmouth is well equipped to cater for your needs.

But wow!! Once you have made all the arrangements for your perfect Exmouth Wedding, you will be well on your way to a wonderful future together with memories to last a lifetime. I personally have been to weddings at Turquoise Bay, Sandy Bay, Bundegi Beach and Town Beach. They were all picture perfect days followed by amazingly fun receptions at the Novotel Resort, Whalers Restaurant and the Exmouth Yacht Club. I will certainly remember all the Exmouth Weddings as very special days indeed.
